We are losing our beloved willow trees

It’s heartbreaking for those of us who have lived with them for many years. If you google the average life of a willow tree it's 30 years. Those of us who have lived here more than 40 years can attest to the fact that they were fully grown back then.

We have met with arborists and tree experts who have informed us that they are damaged and a safety hazard. Because they are dropping limbs they have become a liability.

You can see in the photos that they have outlived their lifespan.

Moving forward, we are reaching out to Association Members to get their ideas of what they'd like to see there. So far, some have said they would like to see new Willow Trees!

Let us know what you’re thinking.
